Voces Unidas
Voces Unidas is a drop-in domestic violence education and support group for Spanish-speaking survivors. Participants do not have to be current Enlace clients.
This peer-to-peer approach works to increase access to support services and reduce the intimidation some survivors may feel when accessing more traditional domestic violence services.
Topics include:
- Self-care
- Gender equity
- Gender violence and culture
- And many more
Voces Unidas allows survivors who may not yet be ready to use Enlace’s services the opportunity to talk and listen to other participants, and recognize that they are not alone. By helping provide a space to shape a supportive survivor community, Enlace is working to build community while reducing the isolation that often results from domestic violence.
Voces Unidas is free and open to the public. We meet every Tuesday from 6:00-7:30 pm via Zoom. For more information, including how to access the meeting, please email gvasquez@enlacenm.org or call 505-246-8972 ext. 15.
