Outreach & Education
Prevention-focused Outreach & Education
Enlace’s prevention services involve culturally and linguistically appropriate engagement at household and community levels—to foster equitable, gender-affirming practices among parents, youth, and their extended community.
Our prevention team centers the experiences and voices of domestic violence survivors, including those of former clients who volunteer to train as community-level educators and co-facilitate prevention-focused outreach efforts.
Our prevention-focused leadership development groups focus on supporting youth (including child/youth witnesses to and survivors of domestic violence), domestic violence survivors, and domestic violence advocates. Group participants help advance crucial conversations around how to reduce domestic violence, promote gender equity, and effect systems-level change around shaping proactive, equitable domestic violence-affiliated policies.

Youth Leaders
Our Youth Leaders program allows participants to build their leadership and networking skills while promoting healthy, gender-affirming relationships amongst their peers.

Voces Unidas
Our drop-in domestic violence education and support group serves Spanish-speaking survivors.

Promotoras
