With a 25-year track record of providing culturally and linguistically specific wraparound services to survivors of domestic violence (DV), especially survivors within Central New Mexico’s Latine and immigrant communities, Enlace recognizes the importance of advocating for strong local policies that support our immigrant neighbors.

Given the sociopolitical volatility at the national level, and the ripple effects locally, Enlace remains steadfast in our commitment to working with local decision makers and partner organizations to strengthen protections for our neighbors in need. Enlace knows that immigrant-friendly polices help immigrant DV victims feel safer in seeking help and reporting abuse. And we know that people-centered policies that address intersecting barriers to long-term health and wellness—like stable, affordable housing and accessible healthcare—also benefit our client communities.

Enlace looks forward to our continued advocacy alongside local changemakers to enhance protections for our immigrant neighbors and promote community-focused solutions so that no neighbor in need is left behind.
