We are currently funded by grants from private foundations as well as government funding from the city, county, state and federal entities. Additionally, we have hundreds of committed individual donors.
Despite the state of the economy, funding has remained stable, and has grown steadily over the past seven years. Our success is due in large part to the support of the community, including former clients, and other agencies who are strong advocates for our work.
Our policies and financial procedures provide strong internal control. Annually, we have an independent financial audit. Maintaining financial records is a joint venture among the Executive Director, Office Manager, Finance Committee and the Financial Manager resulting in an effective “checks and balances” system.
