Enlace Comunitario offers case management that focuses on mobilizing resources and advocating for clients in a collaborative way that includes the client and that involves learning new skills. We are aware that advocacy and gathering information and resources for clients can be in conflict with the goal of empowerment if it reinforces feelings of powerlessness and creates dependency. For that reason, our key services include safety planning (in spanish), court advocacy, translations, and referrals to services to meet basic needs, such as food, clothing, and housing.
