TAKE ACTION!!
You can help promote a more humane approach to immigration enforcement, take action:
-
Call NM Governor Martinez at 505-476-2200 to oppose Executive Order #2011-009 because it increases fear of law enforcement for victims of domestic violence and other crimes.
-
Call Albuquerque Mayor Richard Berry at (505) 768-3000 and let him know that you oppose the co-location of Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) at the prisoner transport center because it creates fear of calling the police for victims of domestic violence.
