Staff Attorney

Under direction from the Legal Director, the Staff Attorney will provide civil legal representation to Spanish-speaking victims of domestic violence, prepare legal research, provide legal advice, provide legal and policy analysis of issues, and develop Continuing Legal Education training.

Required: Juris Doctorate, 1 year practice of family law experience, member of the NM State Bar, and must be bilingual (English/Spanish) both written and verbal.

Clinical Director

Under direction from the Executive Director, directs and supervises Enlace Comunitario counselors and therapists, provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for children, women, groups, and/or families, as appropriate to the specific expectations of the position. Serves as part of Enlace Comunitario’s senior leadership team and provides leadership to case management department and the counseling department. May provide practical training and guidance to students and/or paraprofessional staff, as required.

Required: Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Directly Related Field. Minimum 3 years counseling experience and must be independently licensed. Prior supervision experience preferred, the level of supervisory experience will determine whether title is supervisor or director. Bilingual Spanish communication skills required. Current LISW or LPCC required.

Case Manager

Under the direction of the Lead Case Manager, provides comprehensive case management for adults, children, and/or adolescent, victims of domestic violence and their families in order to improve quality of life, empower, and maintain the highest possible ability to function within the community.

Required: Bachelor’s degree and minimum 1 year of experience that is directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified in the job description, or high school diploma or equivalency with five years work experience, at least two of which are directly related. Bilingual in Spanish, both written and verbal.

Counselor/Social Worker

Under general supervision, provides a range of psychological assessment, diagnostic, therapeutic, and/or case management services for children, women, groups, and/or families, as appropriate to the specific expectations of the position. May provide practical training and guidance to students and/or paraprofessional staff, as required.

Required: Masters Degree in Counseling or Social Work. State of New Mexico LMSW, LCSW, LISW or New Mexico Licensure as LPCC, LPS or RMHC or out of state licensure eligible for NM licensure. Licensure in New Mexico with a Bachelors degree may be acceptable depending on experience. Master’s level students in an accredited counseling, social work or therapist training program may be considered- will render services under direct supervision. Six to twelve months directly related experience, which may include internship and /or practicum. Bilingual in Spanish, both written and verbal.
